Patio:
Sizable Patio overlooking Seneca Lake. The patio was built tiered-down towards the lake to create several intimate spaces and ensure unobstructed lake view for everyone. The patio's center section however is wide and open for a large tasting bar and mingling.
The entire patio is roofed. Clear "curtains" can be rolled down for 3 season tasting, dining or shopping. Originally, each area on this patio was appointed with little sofas, coffee tables, porch swings, outdoor carpets, bistro tables and larger family tables. Often we would find husbands taking a much needed nap on one of the sofas while the wives shopped in peace. [The patio is currently designated for garden living decor shopping.] The average shopping customer time spent at SkyLand was 2 hours.
Wrought Iron Railings brought over from Germany. The patio with its little sofas and porch swings was so inviting, that it added a second reason to make SkyLand their first destination.
Cafe/Tasting Room:
Comfortably sat 70 people on the patio & the inside cafe seating, combined.
Staircase built around massive Oak tree inside the cafe.
Cafe would be an ideal Tasting Room w. amazing ambiance.
Cafe area has Separate Entrance, if needed, from North Parking Lots.
Aged slate & aged wood flooring.
Live edge exposed posts. Rough hemlock ceiling & interior siding. Carrier beams are round, bark intact, tree trunks from woods on property.
Kitchen:
1. Refrigerated, curved, glass dessert case with access from the back.
2. Hussman glass top ice cream display freezer, in which we pre-dipped self-serve Italian Gelato. (purchased new)
3. Walk-in cooler with gorgeous vintage wooden Icebox door. [Walk in cooler is extremely well insulated. Will need updated cooling.
4. The locally salvaged 6" deep vintage freezer door faces the customers and adds a beautiful vintage, old-world ambiance.
5. Commercial :Three Bay stainless steel sink. Stainless steel handwash sink. Stainless steel long prep table. Ample white wire shelving.
6. Deck behind Cafe for additional staging and storage. Deck is under roof.
